The number of routes in Turkey’s largest and most important rock climbing area, Geyikbayırı, has surpassed a thousand, and no one can predict how many more there will be. Trails of varying inclines, heights, and difficulty levels cater to rock climbers of all skill levels.
Situated just 26 kilometers from the city center of Antalya, the rocky area is located right across from Geyik Sivrisi, one of the prominent peaks of the Beydağları range. The village of Geyikbayırı has become a significant center for climbers, and the number of athletes settling here permanently is steadily increasing.

The rocks have been shaped due to tectonic movements, with the length of the rock walls being approximately four kilometers and heights ranging between 15 and 50 meters.
Although the predominant rock structure is limestone, conglomerate can also be found in some places. Connected to Antalya's Konyaaltı district, Geyikbayırı is a climbing paradise with worldwide fame and importance. Thanks to its mild climate during the winter and spring months, Geyikbayırı has a significant advantage. The climbing season, which starts in early October, concludes in mid-May. The region attracts over 40,000 athletes annually, not only for climbing but also for activities such as highlining, slacklining, trekking, running, cycling, skateboarding, yoga, pilates, and orienteering. Additionally, the area hosts an international festival every year.
